To the attention of all disciples (Murids and Muridat) of the Qadiriya Boudchichiya Tariqa, under the supervision of our guide, Sidi Mouad al-Qadiri Boudchich.
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace and blessings be upon our master, the Messenger of God, the Sincere, the Faithful, as well as upon his family and all his companions.
Following the floods and exceptional weather conditions experienced in certain regions of our country, and the resulting damage and suffering, the Sheikh of the Qadiriya Boudchichiya Sufi Way, Sidi Mouad al-Qadiri Boutchich — may Allah preserve him — calls upon all disciples (Murids and Muridat) to intensify their recourse to God the Most High through the litanies of protection (Adhkar al-Hifz), the recitation of the “Selkates” of the Quran (complete readings), and the invocation of the Name “The Subtle” (Dhikr al-Latif). This process must be concluded with pious invocations for the protection of the country and its servants, for the imploration of Divine Benevolence (Istinzal al-Lutf al-Ilahi), and so that God may make this rain a blessing and a mercy, free from any harm, nuisance, or ordeal.
The Tariqa emphasizes that the adoption of material causes is a legal obligation (Wajib Shar’i), as it considers that invocation and remembrance (Dhikr) constitute a spiritual support (Sanad Rouhi), an education in trust in God (Tarbiya ‘ala al-Tawakkul), and a bond for hearts with God, with whom alone refuge is found, and who never disappoints those who implore Him.
We pray to God the Most High to preserve our Sultan by that which He preserved His Wise Remembrance (the Quran), to make him a refuge and a treasure for his faithful people, to delight his eyes with His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, and to strengthen his action with His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid. We ask Him, by His Omnipotence, to make these rains a source of good and blessing, a rain of mercy and not of punishment, and to perpetuate upon our country the blessings of security, faith, peace, and stability.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
